Welcome to The Green Goddess. Your local independent Beer Cafe & Microbrewery.
Now open - we're all about celebrating great beer, quality wines and fine spirits in a laid back atmosphere. Up to 20 different lines of beer, cider and wine - plus two fridges full of new (and often rare) cans & bottles, there's plenty to choose from! Child friendly, dog friendly and fully accessible - everyone is welcome.
We'll be introducing excellent local hot drinks and bar snacks shortly.
Brewing onsite will begin just as soon as all the equipment is in place. At the moment we're not sure when that will be though.
We're just bringing together our events list for the next few months. Keep an eye on our 'what's on' page for the latest info. You can now also book a table using the button below.

Ninkasi is the Sumerian Goddess of beer.
With her crown of barley, hair made of hops, and water droplet bindi she is
The Green Goddess.
We want people to enjoy their drinks, and learn about what goes into making it. Maryann is a Beer Sommelier and Stephen a brewer and together we want to help people discover new tastes and flavours through their drinks.
We plan brewery demonstrations, collaborative brew days as well as sommelier led tastings and food matching sessions.
Unfiltered, unpasteurised, unruly.
Housed inside the pub our brewery, from Common Rioters will offer fresh beer celebrating our rich local history (through names, recipes and ingredients).
As well as beers brewed onsite, we will feature a stunning list of guest beers, all curated by our own beer sommelier.
Including cask, keg, bottle and can. We've also got an excellent range of wines, gin, and selected spirits.
Teas and coffees, plus some lovely charcuterie and cheese boards will complete our offerings.
